THIS FRIDAY—Thanksgiving Basket Prep for Needy MD Families

7th annual 'Gift of Gobble' event a labor of love for KBE Building Corp.

To help various Maryland community and non-profit organizations raise awareness of and meet the growing needs of disadvantaged local families, volunteers from KBE Building Corp. will assemble and deliver 40 Thanksgiving dinners during the firm’s seventh annual “Gift of Gobble” event on Nov. 19-20.

After assembling the Thanksgiving baskets, KBE volunteers will deliver the 40 baskets to the following organizations: 

·         The Bea Gaddy Family Center (15 baskets)

·         Sarah’s House (25 baskets)

WHAT:          

KBE volunteers and their families will assemble and deliver 40 donated Thanksgiving baskets containing all the ingredients of a classic Thanksgiving dinner—turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, pumpkin pie, and a roasting pan.

Special thanks to Harris Teeter for their generous donation toward the purchase of the basket items.

WHEN:                    

Thanksgiving basket assembly will occur on

·         Thurs., Nov. 19 at 12 p.m. and

·         Fri., Nov. 20 at 10 a.m.

Delivery will occur on Fri, Nov. 20 after assembly has concluded, tentatively at 11 a.m. Please call Donna Burgess at 410.910.2885 on the morning of Nov. 20 for a more precise start time for delivery.
