James Culkin, Timothy O'Brien to assume new leadership responsibilities
Farmington, CT, November 30, 2015 (Newswire.com) - KBE Building Corporation (KBE) has strengthened its Senior Management Team with the recent promotion of James Culkin to Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Timothy O’Brien, KBE’s Chief Financial Officer, has also been promoted to Executive Vice President.
Both Culkin and O’Brien will collaborate on operations-related duties to help the $300 million firm continue its 56 years of success well into the future.
James Culkin | Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
As EVP and COO, Culkin will oversee field operations, procurement services, preconstruction, and estimating, as well as initiatives within marketing and business development. Culkin joined KBE in 1996 and holds a BS in Engineering from Penn State University. His previous positions in the company include Project Manager, Project Executive, and Vice President of Procurement and Estimating.
Timothy O’Brien | Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
As EVP and CFO, O’Brien will now direct all support services for KBE projects, including accounting, administrative, project engineering, and human resources, in addition to ongoing fiscal management of the company and a long term strategic focus. O’Brien also joined KBE in 1996 and holds a BSBA in accounting from Bryant University. O’Brien was named CFO in 2010. Previous positions with KBE include Controller and Director of Administration.
