Posted Oct 18, 2017 Passing it on: "Everything's a teaching moment," explained KBE Vice President, General Counsel, and Principal Bob Dunn, who attended the Connecticut Rivers Council Scout Expo earlier this month with his son and their cub scout pack. The two-day Expo featured countless activities like paintballing, zip lining, fly fishing, and a 400-foot pinewood derby track. The group camped out each night, cooked breakfast in the morning, and filled their days with the various activities. Dunn, having been a scout himself as a child, has continued his participation in the organization through adulthood as a part of the Connecticut Rivers Council Board of Directors (since 1992) and as leader of his son's cub scout pack.

Posted Oct 13, 2017 Congratulations to University of Bridgeport on the creation of its new Innovation Center, which will support student entrepreneurs and Connecticut-based businesses seeking to expand. The Center will be located in Bauer Hall and will house offices, conference rooms, brainstorming booths, an International Trade Center, a Professional Service office, a maker space, and additional resources. Renovations to Bauer Hall will start this fall, and are made possible by a generous donation from Fairfield County philanthropists Mr. and Mrs. George Bauer. The project was announced at a ceremony yesterday, Oct. 12. KBE is proud to help support this important endeavor for the University and we look forward to seeing the achievements of its students in years to come!
