April 15, 2014 (Newswire) - KBE Building Corp.'s Vice President of Business Development, Allan Kleban, has been appointed to the Hood College Board of Associates, a diverse group of alumni, parents, friends, and regional business leaders.
As a member of the Board, Kleban will contribute his time, resources, talent, and experience to benefit Hood and its students. Kleban was appointed after a Board vote on April 11. His three-year term will start on July 1, 2014.
"Hood College's mission is to prepare students to excel in meeting the personal, professional, and global challenges of the future," said Kleban, who has been with KBE for 18 years. "I'm pleased to help Hood achieve this worthy goal."
Kleban has a unique familiarity with Hood: KBE has played a major role in managing the construction of several major projects that have helped transform the Hood Campus into what it is today.
"Higher education has become a cornerstone industry for us," said KBE President and principal owner Mike Kolakowski. "But we don't just build classrooms and upgrade facilities. We approach higher education as an investment in our nation's future graduates."
"I'm excited to see the contributions Allan will make to Hood College during the coming years."
